FRIENDS OF SELBY PUBLIC LIBRARY BOOKSTORE

Friends gives used books a new life. We give to the Selby Library to support children, teen and adult programs. Our volunteers give their time and energy. Our members give their financial support. Our Friends Bookstore gives our patrons great bargain prices and you don’t have to wait for the next sale to find great deals on hardcover and paperback books, both fiction and nonfiction, magazines, music cassettes, DVDs, CDs and more! NEW to the Friends bookstore will be several small “YOU HAVE TO BE HERE” book sales that will differ every week so stop and be surprised.

Looking for the perfect gift? Who wouldn’t love a book for the holidays? Come get your holiday shopping done early! Great deals on gently used books and media for you and your friends this holiday season.

The Friends of Selby strive to create a nurturing environment for our patrons featuring different artists each month. We invite you to browse our Bookstore every time you visit the Library and enjoy viewing or purchasing the work of local artists. In December, artwork will be exhibited by Barbara Swan an American painter, illustrator and lithographer who is known for her still-life paintings. Michelle Weltscheff Sheppard, a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Art of Aix-en-Profence France and the School of business, New York University, will be bringing an international perspective with diverse shapes and colors in her display of pieces the month of January.

OUR BOOKSTORE IS OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK FOR YOUR BOOKISH NEEDS!
